Academic Management System

Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of the IMATT Academic Management System ("the System"). By signing in or submitting an application you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • Accounts are issued to applicants, students, parents/guardians, alumni, and staff authorised by IMATT College.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
  • Sharing your account with anyone else, including for examinations, is prohibited and will be treated as academic misconduct.

2. Acceptable use

  • Do not upload malicious files, forged documents, or content you do not have the right to share.
  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape data at scale, or interfere with the System's normal operation.
  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your role.

3. Academic integrity

Examinations conducted through the System are subject to IMATT's academic integrity policy. The System records device, IP, and submission timestamps and may flag patterns consistent with collusion. Penalties for misconduct range from grade forfeiture to expulsion as set out in the IMATT Student Handbook.

4. Payments

Tuition and fee amounts displayed in the System are the source of truth. Bank deposits and cash payments must be confirmed by IMATT's Finance Office before they affect your account. Mobile-money payments are processed through Monime; you are responsible for any charges your provider applies.

5. Content and intellectual property

Coursework, examination papers, and other materials made available through the System remain the property of IMATT College or their respective authors. Personal study use is permitted; redistribution requires written permission.

6. Availability

We aim for the System to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

7. Termination

IMATT may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or where required by institutional or legal process. You may close your own account by contacting the Registrar's Office; some records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sierra Leone. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sierra Leone.
